Jaeho Cho earned his Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005. His research concerns media effects, with particular attention to (a) the influence of mediated information on public opinion and decision-making, and (b) the role that mass media, particularly the Internet, play in encouraging engagement in political life. He teaches courses concerning mediated communication, political communication, and research methods at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
