Grace A. Benefield


  • Grace Benefield obtained her M.A. in Communication from UC Davis in 2015. In 2013, she graduated in 2013 from UC Davis with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in Managerial Economics.

Research Focus

I am interested in how people collaborate and interact in online communities within their teams/groups, organizations, and countries.Using social network analysis and statistics on digital trace data, I have researched video game players, Wikipedians, Facebook users, and software developers.

To enrich my research, I attended the University of Oxford Internet Institute's Summer Doctoral Programme in Summer 2016. I will also intern as a User Experience Researcher at Facebook in Fall 2016.
