Title: Neurophysiological and Network Analysis in Science Communication

Abstract: Dr. Chu is an associate professor from the Department of Sci-Tech Communication and Policy, at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He is also the deputy director of USTC News Center, as well as the vice-director of USTC Science Communication Research Center, a state key lab and think tank. His research is focused on neuroscience experiments of online communication behaviors and on dynamic network analysis of social media in big data - notably in the context of science communication and crisis communication responding to disasters, environmental pollution, GM food safety, and other topics related to the public understanding of science in China.
