Katherine Grasso has joined DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, as an assistant professor of communication in the Department of Humanities. Dr. Grasso will lead an initiative to establish a new health communication track for undergraduate students at DeSales.
Siyue "April" Li has become an assistant professor in the School of Communication at Ohio State University in Columbus. She has developed expertise in the impact of new communication technologies on health communication, especially online social support.
Jeanette Barajas Ruiz has accepted a one-year appointment as a lecturer in the UC Davis Department of Communication. She specializes in strategic communication with a specific interest in emerging practices and concepts in digital and social media. Dr. Ruiz teaches courses in Interpersonal Communication Competence, Introduction to Mass Communication, Introduction to Communication, Strategic Communication in Public Relations, Thinking Like a Social Media Strategist, and Empirical Methods in Communication.
