During the COVID-19 pandemic, LGBTQ+ teens increased their reliance on anonymous discussion forums when discussing anxiety-provoking topics.

Graduate Students Hannah Stevens, Irena Acic, and Sofia Rhea, published an article in the Journal of Medical Internet Research Public Health and Surveillance studying LGBTQ+ Mental Health During COVID-19 Pandemic. A summary of the article was also featured on UC Davis News.
