Prior to the graduate program at UC Davis, Emily worked for half a decade in the consumer goods and retail industry. Her previous roles include Director of Customer Experience for Utah-based Cotopaxi, Customer Research Manager for Maverik, Inc., and Director of Operations at retailer Gigi Pip.
Research Focus
Emily's research focuses on the impact of communication technologies and AI on human interaction and behavior, particularly within health and pro-social contexts. Her work also aims to understand and enhance computational methodologies in social science and communication research.
