Miner Ye is a second-year PhD student in Communication with a designated emphasis in Computational Social Science. She uses computational and mixed methods to understand human behavior in digital environments, particularly examining how people interact with emerging media technologies such as chatbots, recommendation algorithms, and multimodal media. Drawing on her diverse background in social science, STEM, and journalism, Miner is passionate about exploring innovative methodological approaches and translating research findings across disciplines to foster dialogue.
